Title: Medical Office Clerk ( BLS Certified )

Location: Camp Lejeune NC 28547

Pay Rate: $22.55/ hr w2

Duration: 3 Years - Long term

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Monday-Friday between  ( Shifts will normally be scheduled for 8.5 hours to include an uncompensated 30-minute meal break)

• Candidate must have a valid BLS certification from AHA or client.
• Online-only BLS certificates are not valid.
• No other certifications (board certifications, licensure) are required for this role.
• HSD is required.

• Medical Office Clerk shall screen, record and redirect telephone calls and/or secure messaging emails each month. Messages shall be taken and information entered immediately into the MTF Electronic Medical Records system and sent to the appropriate provider or nurse after confirming the patient's identity and the content of the message.
• Medical Office Clerk shall contact patients by phone or secure messaging at the direction of team providers or nurses to relay instructions or information.
• Medical Office Clerk shall check-in patients for their appointments which includes gathering/verifying demographic information (name, address, home/work telephone numbers, sponsor SSN, patient SSN, date of birth, insurance information etc.)
• Medical Office Clerk shall scan documents and enter them appropriately into the MTF Electronic Medical Records system.
