Patient Access Supervisor
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital located in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring a Patient Access Supervisor.
The supervisor for Patient Registration and/or Patient Financial Services is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more areas. Supervises staff, coordinating quality and customer‑service activities; assists in the development and monitoring of the department budget; coordinates the purchasing and payroll processes; serves as a technical resource to team members; and performs work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff.
The supervisor is responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing staff with the goal of building a highly effective work team and serves as chief retention officer for the areas of responsibility.

- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Equivalent experience in Registration may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) OR Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) obtained within 12 months of hire (Required)
- Healthcare experience – 1 year (Required)
