Responsibilities- Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in OP and IOP levels of care
- Work in person at our Washington, DC location from 12:30‑8:30 PM with a flexible one‑day option to work from home dependent on patient needs
- Develop and maintain person‑centered, trauma‑informed treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level‑of‑care determinations
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment
- Design and deliver engaging process, psycho educational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
- Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
- Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care, measured through clinical outcomes such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, and transition from IOP to OP
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
- Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
- Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Active independent licensure in DC: LPC, LMFT, LICSW
- Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma‑informed care; EMDR experience is highly preferred
- Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Commitment to ethical, patient‑centered care and professional growth

Salary Range: $70,000–$105,000 annually
Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible for additional commission‑based compensation tied to clinical group participation and engagement. Therapists earn additional compensation for each participant in their assigned therapy groups.
Total Compensation:
With consistent group census and strong clinical outcomes, total annual compensation is expected to range from $70,000–$105,000, with the potential for high performers to earn more based on group volume and engagement.
