Position OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow with us. This role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time work.
As a COTA, you will:- Report to the Rehab Director and coordinate weekly schedules with office staff
- Provide therapy services in assisted living and home health settings
- Support patients in achieving functional goals through individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff
- Observe, assess, and document patient progress
Adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize multiple tasks - Interpret technical instructions related to patient care
- Valid Indiana COTA license in good standing
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Evidence of annual TB test and other state-required screenings
- Hand therapy and ergonomics
- Blind/visual rehabilitation and assistive technology
- Functional capacity evaluations
- Polytrauma, TBI, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health
- Driver rehabilitation and home-based primary care
