Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Mariposa Autism Service Center (MASC) team serving children across Southern New Mexico. This position supports children displaying challenging behaviors and/or at high risk of an autism diagnosis.
The BCBA will provide services in children’s natural environments, collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, and support early developmental outcomes through evidence-based behavior analytic practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Conduct direct and indirect assessments of child behavior and environments
- Develop, monitor, and modify individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans
- Complete required MASC documentation and third-party billing
- Conduct initial, ongoing, and bi-annual assessments and progress reports
- Provide case-specific training and clinical guidance to RBTs
- Ensure quality, ethical, and effective service delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Active BCBA credential in good standing with the BACB
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Strong ethical decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, family-centered environment
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance for home and community visits
