Annual SalaryAnnual salary starts at $54,000 for licensed eligible clinicians, $67,200 for licensed clinicians.

- Clinical Supervision toward Licensure
Provides intensive home based services to children at risk for psychiatric hospitalization. Services include individual and family therapy, parenting skills training, around-the-clock crisis support, extensive case management, and advocacy. Operated by a team consisting of a Clinician and a Mental Health Counselor, the service collaborates with DCF, schools, and other community-based providers. The team attends rounds and group supervision weekly and maintains clinical documentation according to licensing, accreditation, Medicaid, and Yale requirements.
The purpose is to stabilize the child, improve family functioning, and connect the child with the community in a positive way. Consultation and coordination with psychiatric providers are expected as appropriate. Productivity targets and model training requirements must be met.
The Clinician provides direct services to clients in the office, school, or other identified setting to meet the unique needs of families served. Unlicensed clinicians are hired before obtaining a license and receive supervision by a licensed clinician. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians are expected to obtain licensure to be considered for ongoing employment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement.
- Determine DSM‑V diagnosis in consultation with Supervisor and Medical Director or designated Psychiatrist.
- Develop treatment plans and contracts for services.
- Implement treatment plans, modifying as appropriate during treatment.
- Discharge planning, which may include linkages to community support services.
- Provide case management services.
- Complete clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources.
- Maintain productivity targets determined by service.
EDUCATION
- MSW or equivalent required with a minimum of 3 years’ post‑graduate clinical experience preferred.
- Clinical degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed‑eligible counseling degree.
