Regional Support Dietitian (Compass Group USA)

Compass Group employs over 3,000 Registered Dietitians across the United States. As a Regional Support Dietitian, you will provide clinical nutrition support to regional accounts in Northern California and the surrounding West Region. This non‑management role requires extensive overnight travel – up to 100% of the time.

Location:

CCL Hospitality Group (Northern California, West Region)

Schedule:

10/4 or 5/2 – based on business needs

$85,000 – $90,000 per year

• Evaluate resident nutritional needs and establish individualized plans of care.
• Monitor resident status and take appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with dining services department to ensure smooth seven‑day operation.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate objectives.
• Apply professional knowledge and updates.
• Set and reinforce high standards, monitor performance, and address issues.
• Complete required departmental audits, including clinical documentation, food safety, meal accuracy, and test tray audits.
• Address corrective action plans as directed by leadership.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or licensed/certified dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics; completion of a dietetic internship or equivalent.
• Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in a senior living environment.
• Serve Safe, Choke Save, and Allergen certification preferred.

• A 10‑on/4‑off scheduling may be required.
• Extensive travel (up to 100%) within the region.
• Valid driver’s license and residence within commuting distance of a major airport.
• Work under extreme temperatures/conditions, handling heated equipment, grease, refrigeration/freezer, and other at‑risk conditions.
• Computer knowledge and ability to use multiple software programs.
• Repetitive motion, walking, standing, lifting, pushing, carrying, and wrist motion required.
