Overview
Our health insurance client is hiring to support their ramp for open enrollment. This line will be specifically taking Medicare calls. They will be speaking with an older population, so empathy and patience is key. They will help them walk through their Medicare benefits and answer any questions they may have. Calls will be inbound, typically between 50 and 70 a day;
70 would be on the absolute high end and not the norm.
- Handle Medicare-related inbound calls and assist customers with understanding their benefits.
- Provide empathetic and patient support to an older population.
- Walk callers through Medicare benefits and answer questions.
- Manage call volume typically between 50 and 70 inbound calls per day.
- High school diploma / GED required
- 2+ years as a health insurance/Medicare call center representative
- Medicare health insurance experience preferred
- Preference for someone who can work from home
This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
