DD Program Manager (ongoing temporary position).
As a Developmental Disabilities Program Manager
, you will provide program management and service coordination for all available Developmental Disability services for eligible individuals. This position will work with infants and children through early adolescence. The services provided assist individuals in gaining skills needed to live and work more independently in the community.
- Identify, assess, and collect data; complete case plan and Individual Service Plan (ISP) process.
- Assist individuals in accessing available funding and support services.
- Coordinate and monitor the provision of funded developmental disabilities services and maintain client records.
- Hours are typically daytime during the week; flexibility is required to meet the needs of individuals.
- One year of experience as a DD Program Manager I in the ND Department of Health & Human Services, or meet the definition of a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP): a person with at least one year of direct care experience with persons with a mental illness or a developmental disability; and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the listed fields (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental disabilities, child development and family science, communication disorders, special education, vocational rehabilitation, sociology, elementary education, recreation therapy, human resource management, or medicine).
- Certification or licensure in one of the listed fields is not required for a QDDP designation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to carry out job duties.
- BOTH paraprofessional and professional level experience working with special population groups in a direct service capacity are credited.
This position is home-based and will require travel within the 5 counties in the region.
