What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience serving individuals with substance use disorders – IOP Experience.
  • Current full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) – required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient‑centered care.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and coordinate appropriate follow‑up care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Manage group/individual therapy sessions.
Additional Qualifications
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Clinic Psychologist – required for IOP and PHP and BH hospital‑based departments.
    • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate – required for the Substance Use Therapist role in hospital‑based departments.
    • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire – remote positions exempt; behavioral health outpatient clinics exempt from state approved curricula but required to take NEC
      0170 De‑escalation Techniques and Effective Communication Strategies within 3 months of hire.
    • Involuntary Commitment Examiner – preferred for inpatient, required for BH Access within one year of hire.
    • Notary Public – preferred.
  • Additional skills (required):
    Good working knowledge of computers; ability to care for behavioral health and substance abuse age‑specific populations.
