• Perform cancer registry abstracting as a Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)
• Maintain knowledge of CR Star and Cerner systems to support data management
• Adapt to a changing work environment and continuously upgrade skills
• Function independently with minimal supervision while taking ownership of certification
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in cancer data management

• Must be a Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)
• Minimum of one year of cancer registry abstracting experience in a Commission on Cancer (CoC) approved registry
• Associate's Degree is required
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology
• Competency in computer applications

• Experience with topography and morphology coding
• Familiarity with rules and regulations applicable to cancer data management science
• Knowledge of CR Star and Cerner systems
