• Initiate and manage prior authorization requests via phone, fax, or electronically
• Conduct benefit investigations and coordinate Patient Assistance Programs and copay cards for patients
• Arrange refills, transfers, and delivery of medications
• Regularly update patient case management systems
• Function as a Pharmacy Technician when necessary

• Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum of one (1) year previous pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting
• Minimum of three (3) years prior experience with Manufacturers Patient Assistance Programs
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Associates Degree in Business or a related field from an accredited program
