** Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
** to join our outpatient team in South Boston, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who values a collaborative, patient-centered approach and wants to make a meaningful impact on individuals struggling with behavioral health challenges.

* ** Patient Volume:
** Approximately 35–40 patients per week

* Schedule:

** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | No on-call requirements
** Patient Population:
*** Substance and alcohol use disorders, Depression and anxiety, Grief and loss, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, PMDD, Schizophrenia, etc.
** Team Composition:
*** 2 Physicians
* 1 Licensed Professional Counselor
* 2 Support Staff

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Conduct outpatient behavioral health visits and follow-ups
* Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
* Provide counseling and therapy when indicated
* Collaborate closely with physicians on patient care
* Monitor and track patient progress, ensuring individualized, effective treatment plans
** Ideal Candidate:
*** Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health
* Proven ability to provide both medication management and counseling
* Experience in evaluating and determining the most effective treatment approach for patients, whether through medication, therapy, or a combination of both
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
