Texas - Contract Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a contract position

• Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
• Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
• Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video sessions, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
• Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed
• Seamless: conduct video sessions, manage cases, create treatment plans, and submit documentation for each patient
• No overhead: avoid insurance barriers, marketing budgets, and other private-practice costs
• Flexible: work from home on a schedule that suits your other commitments
• Secure: patient-provider communications protected with bank-level security and encryption
• HIPAA-compliant: adheres to HIPAA and ethical codes regarding patient confidentiality

• $110 per initial session with a new patient referral (Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examination - 45-60 min)
• $30-$85 per follow-up session with an established patient, depending on session length (Evaluation and Management - 10-49 min)

• Active PMHNP license in Texas and 2+ years prescribing experience
• Active DEA and individual NPI number
• Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
• Collaborating/supervising physician agreement, or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable internet connection
• Independent professional liability insurance with minimum coverage: $1 million occurrence / $3 million aggregate
