Live-In Companion & Caregiver (Tues–Sat)

Schedule: Tuesday 11:00 AM through Saturday 6:00 PM (Weekly Cycle)
Salary: $800 per week, plus $100 weekly allowance for gas/tolls

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy Live-In Companion and Caregiver for our father in Elberon, NJ. This unique full-time role operates on a Tuesday morning through Saturday evening cycle and requires residency in the family home during scheduled hours. The primary focus is providing support, mobility assistance, and transportation for medical appointments. The role offers room and board with minimal household duties.

• Medical Transportation & Support (Tues, Thurs, Sat):
• Arrive at the house by 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
• Drive the patient (approx. 20 minutes) to the dialysis center at 12:15 PM.
• Remain at the center for approximately 3 hours (free to leave or stay locally if desired) and drive the patient back home upon completion.
• Mobility & Safety Assistance (Wed, Fri):
• Assist the father with morning exercises and walking.
• Walk closely alongside the father to ensure safety and prevent falls, as he is generally mobile but experiences weakness.
• General Assistance & Oversight:
• Provide respectful companionship and monitor overall well-being.
• Assist with any minor housekeeping tasks (mother maintains primary responsibility for house cleaning).

• Must own a reliable car for all transportation duties.
• Must commit to the weekly live-in schedule:
  Tuesday 11:00 AM through Saturday 6:00 PM.
• Compassionate, honest, and reliable demeanor.
• Willingness to undergo training from a local rehab center to ensure appropriate care and safety cues are used.
• Must be comfortable living in the family home and sharing meals.

• A structured weekly schedule with consistent time off (Saturday evening through Tuesday morning).
• Guaranteed weekly pay of $800, plus an additional $100 weekly to cover tolls and gasoline costs.
• Full Room and Board included:
  Free lodging and meals are provided (mother prepares meals).
• Opportunity to receive specialized training from a professional rehabilitation center.
