Overview

The Supervising Behavior Analyst (SBA) is the qualified healthcare professional that provides direct case management for clients. Case management includes assessment, treatment programming, protocol modification, documentation, supervision, and administrative oversight of technicians.

BCBA to join our Frederick Center.

This full‑time position carries a target of 8‑10 children on a full caseload with at least 25 client‑facing hours per week at the Frederick Center. The schedule is based on center operating hours of 8‑5 PM but may vary.

As an SBA, you ensure our services meet generally accepted standards of care and comply with all funder requirements. You develop programs to teach new skills and reduce problem behavior, collaborating with caregivers and stakeholders, and supervise behavior technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as case manager and oversee day‑to‑day delivery of evidence‑based ABA therapy services to young children (1‑6 years) diagnosed with ASD or related disabilities.
  • Provide direct assessment and evaluation (e.g., VB‑MAPP, functional behavior assessment), develop and monitor programming for your caseload.
  • Ensure required documentation is completed and submitted on schedule.
  • Provide formal supervision to behavior technicians, up to 10 direct 1:1 client hours per week, using recommended tools.
  • Identify caregiver training goals, develop materials, and conduct training using evidence‑based curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment and treatment activities for billing and clinical records.
  • Remain compliant with BACB, licensure, and funding requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical development through training, CE events, and meetings.
  • Maintain licensure or progress toward completion of certification requirements.
