Will require some travel to outreach locations. Will consider applicants for Petoskey area to work out of the Petoskey device office. May travel to Gaylord, Indian River and Charlevoix. Some remote work as well.

• Function as a subject matter expert and champion of patient care, under the supervision of our electrophysiologists, for our cardiac device patients by providing thorough pacemaker, AICD interrogation and reprogramming.
• Prepare patient for and assist with examinations.
• Makes changes to the settings of the device per physician direction.
• Recognizes abnormalities, malfunctions and End of Service indicators; notifies cardiologist and assists in scheduling patients for follow up or replacement as indicated.

• Cardiac Device Specialist Certification required within 5 years of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Nursing or related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in cardiac telemetry, electrocardiogram tech, monitor tech or device monitoring.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac services required; 1 year of cardiac device experience preferred.
