About the Role

The Reimbursement Supervisor directs and manages Billers and Accounts Receivable team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience/

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years experience in medical revenue cycle, billing and/or collections. 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in revenue cycle, billing and/or collections.
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion
Essential Functions
  • Review and ensure all claims are billed in a timely manner and with accuracy.
  • Assist in handling issues with Pharmacy, Nursing, or Intake.
  • Provide leadership and supervision of Reimbursement team by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing system and productivity standards.
  • Establishes and maintains payer relations as directed by the Director of Reimbursement.
  • Communicate with supervisor with suggestions for improvement of processes.
  • Review and ensure timely collections of claims for services, primary and/or secondary.
  • Assist Director with Special Projects.

Physical Demands
