Behavioral Health Practitioner – ARMHS

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct services to adults with mental illness in individual and group settings, both site-based and in the community. Services focus on establishing goals that are personally meaningful to the person receiving treatment, developing skills, and achieving a quality of living that is based on each person’s vision of recovery.

This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time. This position is 20 hours/week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Position is flexible; requires in-person meetings with clients, and will require a dedicated, private home work space for documentation and attending mandatory meetings and/or trainings.

• Appointments scheduled in a timely manner.
• Implements identified goals through skills training and communicates in a positive, respectful, strength-based manner.
• Complete assessments necessary and defined by the Department of Human Services.
• Able to work independently, displaying good communication skills and maintaining an accurate schedule.

• Must meet the requirements of a Behavioral Health Practitioner as defined by DHS.
• Private working space from home.
• Travel will be required; there will be increased travel during orientation and training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $29.58 per hour
