Dermatology Physicians is a privately-owned dermatology practice with 9 locations. We are currently looking to expand our staff with a full-time certified medical assistant/scribe. As a fast growing practice we also offer growth opportunities within the practice. What would you do as a Biologics CoordinatorAs a Biologic Coordinator at Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care by managing biologic referrals effectively. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include submitting and tracking prior authorizations while liaising with insurance companies and specialty pharmacies. You will communicate directly with patients, providing them with timely updates and support, and assisting them in enrolling in copay assistance programs when necessary.
By collaborating closely with providers and clinical staff, you will ensure that biologic therapies are initiated and maintained without delays, creating a seamless experience for patients.
