• Speak with callers over the phone, connecting with individuals seeking support
• Build rapport and engage clients effectively
• Provide available resources or information needed by callers
• Remain calm and professional while multitasking to support callers
• Participate in ongoing meetings, training, and team-building activities

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent certification
• Current experience as a peer and willingness to acquire certification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to maintain a distraction-free private office space while working from home
• Commitment to personal recovery and professional handling of confidential information

• Experience in crisis intervention or peer support services
• Familiarity with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL) or similar resources
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
