Overview Salary Range

$58,480.92 - $ Salary/year

Join our Forensic Outpatient Community Transition Program, where you’ll provide therapeutic care while shaping the future of the Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) coordination for individuals transitioning back into the community. At Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR), we’re committed to serving individuals and strengthening our community every day. We’re seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist to join our Forensic Outpatient Team, which provides co-occurring treatment for behavioral health and/or substance use disorders to clients involved in the criminal justice system.

Referrals come from probation, parole, Wellness Court, and the Department of Human Services, though clients may also self-refer. The team also works closely with the State of Colorado to support individuals found NGRI as they reintegrate into the community. In addition to providing outpatient therapy and helping clients meet justice system requirements, this role will serve as the NGRI Coordinator for Forensics, overseeing administrative tasks and coordination for this specialized population.

Our collaborative, adaptable team values empathy, assertiveness, and strong communication — and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to growth, both professionally and personally.

Schedule

We offer flexible work arrangements, either a 5 x 8-hour workweek (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) or a 4 x 10-hour workweek (Tuesday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm), and is eligible for a hybrid model that allows for a mix of remote and in-office work, with an expectation of being in the office four days per week and working from home one day.

This schedule may be adjusted based on training, department, client, or community needs.
