Overview

Sentara Health Plans is hiring a School Liaison in Region 4, Northern Virginia. The School Liaison Program links Virginia school systems and Sentara to support community needs, including vaccine clinics, volunteering at community events, and educating about online behavioral health tools.

Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours)

Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday

Location: Remote in Region 4, Northern Virginia ( list of counties:
Alexandria, Arlington County, Clarke County, Culpeper County, Fairfax County, Falls Church, Fauquier County, Frederick County, Loudoun County, Madison County, Manassas, Manassas Park, Orange County, Page County, Prince William County, Rappahannock County, Shenandoah County, Warren County, Winchester, VA ). Travel to schools or community/wellness events in Region 4 is required approximately 3 times per month.

The School Liaison Program was designed to create a link between Virginia school systems and Sentara to better the communities where Sentara operates. Responsibilities include supporting vaccine clinics, providing volunteers at community events, and educating about various online behavioral health tools. School liaisons stay in touch with community needs to help Sentara serve them better.

• MLD - Master’s Level Degree - Education
• MLD - Master’s Level Degree - Social Work
• MLD - Master’s Level Degree - Psychology

• None required

• Experience working for a school or with schools is preferred
• Behavioral health experience is preferred
