What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Analyze professional and facility claims to ensure appropriate reimbursement and compliance with payer policies
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to perform charge reconciliations and mitigate revenue loss risks
  • Interpret revenue cycle policies to recommend improvements and enhance processes
  • Serve as the point of contact for complex billing scenarios and establish filing processes
  • Maintain and oversee revenue edits in Epic, ensuring timely and compliant charge capture
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare with clinic/hospital billing systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Certification from a recognized coding or health information organization, such as AAPC or AHIMA
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive leadership
