Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Child Builders ABA summary:

Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings by implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting behavioral data, and assisting in individualized treatment. Collaborate with BCBAs and team members, maintain confidentiality and ethical standards, and support skill development in communication, socialization, and self-help. Position requires RBT certification (or completion offered), reliable transportation, and offers paid training, benefits, and professional development with pay $20–$25/hr.

Child Builders ABA is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to provide home based services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. This position involves working closely with clients, collecting data on behavior, and assisting with the implementation of behavior plans. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings (home, school, community) using the behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.

  • Collect accurate data on client behavior during therapy sessions.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.

  • Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.

  • Provide feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress and any observed changes in behavior.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards of behavior analysis.

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Pay range: $20 - $25 /hour

  • Full-time, part-time shifts available

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.

  • Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program preferred, but we will offer the course for any new staff

  • Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.

  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement ABA techniques effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliable transportation to travel to client locations as needed.
