Ready to take the next step in your pharmacy career? Reporting to the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, this pivotal role is central to our Pharmacy Management Team. You’ll lead a small, dedicated team, driving innovation as we introduce EPMA and enhance medicines optimisation across the Trust.

Role SummaryAs Dispensary Manager, you’ll provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of our dispensary service, ensuring compliance, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll inspire and motivate your team, act as a role model, and help shape the future of pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the dispensary service, ensuring compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate all dispensary activities related to clinical trials and research, acting as the primary liaison with the Trust’s R&D team.
- Drive the introduction of EPMA and enhance medicines optimisation across the Trust.
- Support the Pharmacy Management Team in delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will also support the development of staff and contribute to the Trust’s EEO and diversity initiatives.
Qualifications & SkillsThe successful candidate will be an organised, flexible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of the team. You’ll have:
- Hospital pharmacy experience.
- Staff management expertise.
- Commitment to patient safety.
- Strong communication skills.
