Full Time Benefit Eligible - Pharmacy Residency Coordinator - Days

Effective immediately, there is an opening for a 1.0 FTE Residency Clinical Coordinator. This is a salaried position with no weekend, holiday, or staffing responsibilities. This position should plan to be onsite at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Remote work opportunities will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. This position is responsible for coordinating all Parkview Health pharmacy residency programs: PGY1 Pharmacy, PGY1 Community-Based, PGY2 Ambulatory Care, PGY2 Critical Care, PGY2 Internal Medicine, PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Parkview Health pharmacy residency programs: PGY1 Pharmacy, PGY1 Community-Based, PGY2 Ambulatory Care, PGY2 Critical Care, PGY2 Internal Medicine, PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership.
  • Precepting, recruiting, selecting, mentoring, preceptor coordination, and ensuring compliance with ASHP Residency Standards.
  • Facilitate growth of residents into professional pharmacists and support their development.
Qualifications
  • Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution; completed a PGY1 residency or equivalent practice experience.
  • Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana.
  • Board Certification required within 2 years of hire and maintained thereafter.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and team leadership skills; strong problem-solving and self-development abilities; comfortable with autonomy and able to work with minimal supervision; capable of conflict management and process improvement.
