Job Overview

Job Description And Main Responsibilities
At the direction of the Registered Nurse participate fully in the delivery of planned nursing care, applying and evaluating advanced clinical skills. (KSF Dimension 8 level
2)
Participate in the assessment of health care needs through the completion and interpretation of assessment tools documentation. (KSF Dimension 7 Level
2)
Assist the RGN in the evaluation of care and completion of patient documents. (KSF Dimension 1 level
2)
Involve patients and carers/relatives in the delivery of care. (KSF Dimension 8 level
2).
Provide reassurance support to patients and carers/family. (KSF Dimension 1 level
2)
Work collaboratively with others in the Ward to ensure that patients needs are met. (KSF Dimension 8 level 2 )
Recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations. (KSF Dimension 3 Level 1 )
Undertake transfer and escort of patients with moderate dependency, as directed. (KSF Dimension 3 level 1 )
