Our seasonal Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently. Please review qualifications and apply for the recruiting team to review and assist with the interview process.

Under general supervision of medical and nursing staff, following policies, procedures and professional guidelines assists with surgical and endoscopy procedures; provides, assembles and cares for surgical supplies, instruments and equipment before, during and after procedures. Assists with cleaning, restocking and processing of the surgical suite, instruments and equipment, as needed. Identifies and reports situations requiring intervention to the RN or Clinician.

• Assist with surgical and endoscopy procedures under general supervision of medical and nursing staff.
• Provide, assemble and care for surgical supplies, instruments and equipment before, during and after procedures.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking and processing of the surgical suite, instruments and equipment as needed.
• Identify and report situations requiring intervention to the RN or Clinician.
• Perform duties in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program with active CST Certification from AST or NCCT.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience.
