Position: Medical Information Specialist (Remote - EST)

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for healthcare providers and patients, managing unsolicited medical inquiries through Global Medical Information
  • Respond to inquiries using approved verbal and written responses while ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Triage inquiries as on- or off-label, escalating those without approved responses to the appropriate Medical Information Manager
  • Document all contacts, inquiries, adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with established procedures
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs colleagues on projects to develop resources and training based on inquiry trends
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing pharmaceutical industry experience, including medical information or clinical experience
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and awareness of Medical Information regulations
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on clinical nursing experience in pulmonary hypertension or interstitial lung disease
  • 1+ years of medical writing experience
  • Understanding of metrics related to customer service efficiency and satisfaction
  • Experience as a PH coordinator or in critical care, pulmonology, or cardiology
