Cape Side Psychiatry & Cape Side Addiction is a U.S.

-based provider specializing in telepsychiatry, psychiatry, and addiction treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults. At Cape Side Psychiatry, we deliver comprehensive mental health care, including evaluations, psychological assessments, therapy, and medication management for various psychological and behavioral health conditions. Cape Side Addiction focuses on reducing opioid dependence through tailored treatment plans and confidential telehealth services. Our patient-centered approach empowers individuals on their path to recovery while maintaining their daily lives and routines.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Outpatient Therapist located in Jacksonville, NC, and in Wilmington, NC, with flexibility to work from home for certain responsibilities. The therapist will provide mental health and addiction services, including client evaluations, individualized treatment planning, therapy sessions, and case management. Responsibilities also include collaborating with families, fostering positive therapeutic relationships, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to support personalized and effective client care
  • Proficiency in Social Work and Psychology principles to assess and address clients' mental health needs
  • Experience in Family Therapy, with a focus on fostering healthy family dynamics and support systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field is required
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure in North Carolina
  • Prior experience in addiction treatment is highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in hybrid model, combining in-office and remote responsibilities
