Role Description

Pediatric Occupational Therapist or COTA located in Terrell/Kaufman, TX area. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will work directly with children to provide home-based occupational therapy services, focusing on sensory integration, motor skills development, and early intervention. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with families and caregivers, and documenting patient progress. This role plays a vital part in improving pediatric patients  quality of life and supporting their development.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and experience in Pediatrics.
  • Skills in Sensory Integration and Early Intervention to support diverse developmental needs.
  • Experience working with children and a passion for making a positive impact in their lives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with families and interdisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • CPR certification and reliable transportation for home visits.
  • Previous experience in home health care is a plus.
