• Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist to join the team based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on a 7PA basis per week. Some home working will also be available. Out of hours CT is entirely provided by teleradiology and there is currently no on-call commitment.

Posts are to support the general radiology needs for the department, but a wide range of specialist activities are provided within NHS Highland. Specialist interests are encouraged; interests in MSK, Breast, cardiothoracic and paediatric imaging would be especially welcome, though other existing specialist interests will be considered.
Responsibilities- Work with dynamic and supportive clinical colleagues in radiology, nursing and a range of medical and surgical specialties.
- Contribute to the department’s general radiology needs and participate in specialist activities as arranged.
- Engage in teleradiology arrangements for out-of-hours CT where applicable.
- General Medical Council Specialist Register with a Licence to Practise (working towards CESR).
- Applicants are encouraged to visit the department prior to applying; costs of a preliminary visit may be met by NHS Highland.
- Relocation package available for new permanent members of the team.
