Overview:
The Supervising Behavior Analyst (SBA) is the qualified healthcare professional (QHP) that provides direct case management for clients. Case management includes assessment, treatment programming, with protocol modification, documentation, supervision and administrative oversight of technicians and specialist(s) for your caseload. This is a full-time position that carries a target of 8 to 10 children on a full caseload with at least 25 client facing hours per week (4–6 per day).
Schedule is 8–5 PM center operating hours but may vary by center and region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical & Service Provision Responsibilities (approximately 60%):
- Serves as the case manager and oversees the day-to-day delivery of evidence-based ABA therapy services to young children (1–6 years) diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related disabilities.
- Provides direct assessment and evaluation (e.g., VB-MAPP, functional behavior assessment); develops and monitors programming for their caseload.
- Ensures required documentation (reports, treatment notes) are completed within 10 business days of assessment and submitted to the supervisor for review 5 business days prior to due date for insurance re-authorization submission.
- Provides formal supervision to behavior technicians and/or direct services to clients (up to 10 direct 1:1 client hours/week) on a predetermined schedule and using recommended tools.
- Identifies appropriate caregiver training goals, develops materials, and completes caregiver training sessions using evidence-based curriculum through behavioral skills training.
Administrative and Professional Development (approximately 40%):
- Maintain accurate records of assessment and treatment activities for billing and client records, including scheduling, converting appointments and completion of treatment records within 24 hours of rendering services.
- Remain compliant with responsibilities as outlined by the BACB and licensure and funding sources, including state and federal regulatory entities.
- Continue to develop clinical and nonbehavioral skills through didactic trainings, CE events, and meetings as assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain licensure and certification or progress towards completion; ensure familiarity with ethical and professional guidelines and codes (e.g., ).
- Maintain ongoing communication with direct supervisor and team; raise ideas and concerns with appropriate parties.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the center director, including site leadership participation and operational support.
Educational
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in special education, behavior analysis, or related field required. BCBA; licensure eligible.
- Minimum of 1–2 years working directly with individuals diagnosed with ASD; case management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to ABA principles; ongoing professional development and leadership growth.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience building relationships with staff, caregivers, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic procedures for serving individuals with ASD.
- Ability to use data and information systems to solve problems and make data-based decisions.

Posted Salary Range:
Starting from USD $82,500.00/Yr.
