Medical Laboratory Assistant

Overview

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Laboratory Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to work within a busy and friendly department, supporting the delivery of high‑quality diagnostic services to surrounding healthcare providers.

The Pathology Department at King’s Mill Hospital plays a crucial role in providing analytical, diagnostic, interpretative, and consultative services to hospitals, clinics, and GP practices.

• Undertake basic laboratory tasks essential for the smooth operation of the department.
• Check and sort specimens to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Input patient and test data accurately.
• Contribute to ensuring efficient service delivery and support patient care.
