We are seeking a bilingual Clinical Health Coach (Spanish and English) with a clinical background such as Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse, or equivalent. In this virtual role, you will engage with patients weekly, support healthy behavior change, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team led by obesity medicine expert Dr. Jamie Kane. This position offers flexible scheduling, remote work, and opportunities for professional growth in a rapidly evolving field.
Responsibilities- Conduct weekly virtual check‑ins to monitor progress and support care plan adjustments
- Serve as the primary communicator for patient questions and concerns
- Act as a liaison between patients and the broader clinical team
- Provide practical guidance on nutrition, lifestyle habits, and behavior change strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow health coaches
- Document patient interactions and updates in electronic health record systems
- Use telehealth platforms and digital tools to support remote care delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Nutrition, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field preferred
- Health Coaching certification from a recognized program required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Health Coach, Patient Navigator, or similar role required
- Experience in obesity care, weight management, chronic care management, or telehealth preferred
- Strong communication skills, including motivational interviewing
- Proficiency with electronic health records and Google Workspace
- Reliable internet connection and a HIPAA‑compliant private workspace
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
