Certified Home Health Aide; CHHA

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a Caregiver/ Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
• Must be fully covid vaccinated & booster
• 2-step PPD
• Physical within the last 12 months
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile

• Certified Home Health Aides help patients in a variety of ways which may include taking their vital signs or giving them medication under a nurse’s direction. Aides must record and report this data as medically necessary.
• Assist with daily functions such as dressing or bathing.
• Help with planning for doctor’s appointments, other meetings and may organize transportation for patients.
• You may perform facility work, hourly as well as live-in care depending on assignment.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, laundry, etc.).
• Prepping and cooking meals.
• Grocery shopping.
• Reporting to nurses about patients’ health status.
• Teaching patients self-care skills.

• Full-Time, Part-Time, Per-Diem Salary: $17-20 per hour (depending on experience and case)
• Extra pay on weekends
