OR and MSPU Scheduler; PAS Resource Specialist

Employer Industry: Healthcare Services

• Schedule and coordinate anesthesia and non-anesthesia procedures across multiple locations
• Verify patient demographic information and eligibility for healthcare coverage
• Provide personal reminders to patients about upcoming procedures and investigate scheduling errors
• Triaging and documenting telephone calls from patients and staff, delivering information promptly to the appropriate providers
• Provide training and guidance for new personnel in the service area

• One year of experience in a medical office setting with high-volume direct patient contact, including scheduling of appointments
• Thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures
• Demonstrated advanced PAS user skills and extensive knowledge of integrated care
• Basic computer skills including word processing and online scheduling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of PAS policies and procedures, with completed PAS training and core competencies
• Experience with procedural scheduling in GI, CCL, IR, or other areas
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with the iQueue software system
• Strong customer service orientation
