Pay: $23–$25 per hour (based on experience)

Addison Group is seeking an experienced Outpatient Billing & Collections Specialist for our client in a high-volume hospital outpatient setting. This role requires strong knowledge of commercial insurance billing and collections for physical, speech, and occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Process outpatient hospital billing and manage collections for commercial insurance accounts.
- Handle high-volume workload
:- Billing: ~60 accounts/day (beginning of month).
- Collections: ~25 accounts/day (mid to end of month).
- Review denials and submit appeals promptly.
- Correct billing errors and verify account details for accuracy.
- Understand and apply modifiers, reimbursement rules, and contract terms.
- Work with Well Sky (collections) and Anovo (billing) systems.
- Participate in daily huddles and maintain open communication with management.
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient hospital billing and collections experience
. - Strong knowledge of commercial insurance billing for therapy services (physical, speech, occupational).
- Familiarity with ASC billing is a plus; physician office billing experience is not applicable.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts and identify discrepancies.
- Stable work history (2+ years in previous roles preferred).
