Overview
Employer Industry: Healthcare Services
What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Answer incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and members, identifying the type of assistance needed
- Gather clinical information for licensed staff to facilitate decision-making based on clinical policy
- Navigate complex computer systems to resolve calls efficiently and effectively
- Document call interactions thoroughly in real-time while communicating with callers
- Coordinate information with clinical team partners and assist with care coordination
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience
- Minimum of 2 years of call center experience
- At least 1 year of work-from-home experience
- Internet speed of 30 mbps download and upload
- Experience working within a medical/behavioral setting (e.g., hospital, managed care organization, or joint medical/behavioral outpatient practice)
- Experience in coordinating benefits and utilizing multiple resources for patients
- Working knowledge of community-based resources and services
