The Role
As a Health & Safety Field Consultant, you will work directly with clients at their workplaces, delivering hands-on health and safety consulting services tailored to their operations. This is a field-based role supported by remote work, where you'll use Peninsula's systems, tools, and documentation to help clients build, implement, and maintain effective health and safety management systems.
You will work Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet client needs.

Compensation
- Base salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- Car allowance: $8,400 annually

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact clients to confirm and follow up on scheduled appointments
- Conduct on-site and virtual client visits to assess operations and develop customized health and safety management systems
- Deliver professional and practical health and safety services, including:
- Regulatory compliance advice and recommendations
- Risk assessments and workplace inspections
- Health and safety training
- Safe work procedure development
- Gap analyses against legislative, COR, and management system requirements
- Comprehensive audits
- Guide clients in implementing Peninsula's health and safety tools, systems, and programs
- Complete reports, records, and documentation accurately and on time
- Achieve internal performance and quality standards
- Participate in project work to develop and enhance health and safety products and solutions
- Collaborate with other health and safety professionals to meet client expectations
Education & Experience
- Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university
- Holding or actively pursuing a professional OHS designation (e.g., CRST, CRSP)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Minimum 3–5+ years of relevant health and safety experience
- Proven experience developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety programs
- Experience with COR and ISO 45001 is considered an asset
