Part Time Clinical Psychologist

Overview

A part-time (or full-time) Clinical Psychologist to conduct child and adolescent diagnostic evaluations, evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families. Another key responsibility is to provide supervision and record appointments for existing pre-licensed therapists (from two up to five pre-licensed therapists). The ideal candidate will have an interest in starting a new program and have experience working with a pediatric population.

• Complete psychiatric assessment on child & adolescent patient
• Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling for child & adolescent patients and their families as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management
• Perform supervision for our pre-licensed therapists and record their appointments
• Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures
• Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation
• Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Other meaningful responsibilities related to the role

• Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the state of Massachusetts
• Have clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship
• Experience with completing psychological evaluations
• Familiarity with working with/within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504 Process
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: 60% of the collected revenues for completed evaluations and $100+ per hour of supervision and recording appointments.
