This role will be within our Digital Team and is a fully remote position, with working hours primarily on weeknights between 4pm to 9pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm (or 9am to 1pm). We can offer some flexibility on weeknight hours to accommodate later evening starts if required.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses that lead to appropriate support and improved outcomes for families.
In this role, you will contribute to high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people. Duties include conducting structured observations via digital platforms, carrying out remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers, and actively participating in multidisciplinary team diagnostic discussions, with support from senior clinicians where required. You will deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families, ensuring that outcomes and next steps are communicated sensitively and effectively.
The role also involves producing accurate and detailed clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with the support of our smart tools to improve efficiency and consistency. You will be expected to work effectively to meet service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely assessments and reports that contribute to positive outcomes for families.
At Evolve Psychology, we do things differently. Founded in 2014 by Dr Laura Powling, our mission is to combine care, connection, empathy, and clinical excellence with no compromise. What began as a small practice delivering expert witness and neurodevelopmental assessments has grown into a national independent psychology service, providing NHS-funded assessments across the UK. We are clinician-founded and led, fully registered with HCPC and affiliated with the British Psychological Society.
Our award-winning multidisciplinary team of over 100 experts specialises in autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia assessments for children, young people, and adults. We prioritise evidence-based, person-centred care that supports the whole individual, not just a diagnosis, and offer clinicians opportunities to contribute to training, research, and neuro-inclusive initiatives. Guided by compassion, clarity, and integrity, we are growing sustainably, with clinics across the UK and a commitment to high-quality, meaningful impact in every service we provide.

About Evolve Psychology
At Evolve Psychology, we do things differently. Founded in 2014 by Dr Laura Powling, Evolve Psychology began with a bold aim to redefine what clinical and forensic psychology means in practice. Laura's vision was simple yet powerful, to bring care, connection, empathy and clinical excellence together, with no compromise.
What started as a small practice delivering expert witness and neurodevelopmental assessments has blossomed into a national independent psychology service. We earned our first NHS contract in 2021, launched satellite clinics to streamline access, and rolled out neurodevelopmental services to families across the UK. In 2023 we were awarded a further contract in Dublin, to help support the HSE on the assessment of need pathway in Ireland.
We are clinician-founded and clinician-led, proudly registered with HCPC and affiliated with the British Psychological Society, CORU, PSI and the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. We are also award-winning, a testament to the dedication and quality of our multidisciplinary team of over 100 experts.
