About the Role
Our health insurance client is expanding their team to support increased call volume during Open Enrollment. We are hiring Medicare Customer Service Representatives to assist an elderly member population with questions related to their Medicare and Medicaid benefits. You will handle inbound-only calls (typically 50-70 per day), helping members understand their plans, navigate coverage details, and receive the support they need.
Empathy, patience, and clear communication are essential to success in this role.
- Provide compassionate, patient, and accurate assistance to Medicare/Medicaid members.
- Answer benefit questions and guide members through available resources.
- Document call details thoroughly and follow compliance requirements.
- Meet quality, attendance, and performance standards.
- Manage a consistent inbound call queue during peak enrollment periods.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of health insurance or medical call center experience
- Medicare experience strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable working fully remote
Operating
Hours:
8:00 AM-9:00 PM
Must be open to any shift in this window. Late shift availability is a plus (many openings fall in afternoon/evening).
Training (First 4 Weeks): 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Weeks 5-6: On-the-job training on your assigned schedule
Shift Differential: Additional $1/hr for hours worked after 6:30 PM
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
