Profee Medical Coder

Overview

Part-Time Opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Pro-Fee Medical Coder with strong multispecialty coding and editing expertise. This is a remote opportunity open to U.S.

-based applicants only.

The ideal candidate will have extensive professional fee (pro-fee) hospital coding experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will be responsible for accurately coding and editing provider charges across multiple specialties while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

• Active certification: AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
• Minimum 3 years of pro-fee hospital coding experience, including editing
• Specialty
  
  Experience:
  
  OB-GYN, Gastroenterology (GI), Urology, General Surgery, & Internal Medicine
• Proven ability to maintain a quality score of 98% or higher
• Productivity standards: 12 charts per hour for coding - 15 charts per hour for editing
• Hands-on experience with EPIC
• Strong comfort level with technology, including MS Office, Microsoft Teams, and VPN
• Ability to successfully pass pro-fee coding assessment(s)
• Work Schedule:
  
  All hours must be worked Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM PST (9:00 AM–9:00 PM EST). Flexibility within these hours is allowed.

  Approximately 2 months with opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs
