Who We Are:

The Excel Center Ft. Worth is an outpatient clinic serving ages 5 - 18. We are a specialized day treatment center meeting the emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents. We offer Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs in a safe and supportive environment for youth whose emotional and behavioral problems are interfering with their ability to function effectively at home, at school, and in the community.

Our team of dedicated psychiatrists, nurses, licensed therapists and teachers are experienced in working with children, adolescents and families. An affiliate of Millwood Hospital, the Excel Center of Ft. Worth offers a less restrictive treatment environment than an inpatient facility. This is not a remote position.

Seeking a Full Time Program Therapist to be responsible for our virtual IOP program running evening groups and telehealth as needed. Performs behavioral healthcare clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs with ongoing assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral management, enhancement of coping skills, family therapy and discharge planning.

Program Therapist (Full-Time) HYBRID POSITION

This is a hybrid position (home and work position). Home base/location - Branches Ft. Worth - Outpatient Clinic Services, 1307 8th Ave, Floot 5, Fort Worth, TX 76104

Must be available to attend the Full hospital and departmental orientations:
Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM

The employee would be working all 5 days/wk (M-F) onsite at the clinic 8:00-2:00 and M-W-Th running group from 6:00-9:00 remotely (from home)...

Mon- 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic, 6:00-9:00 remote (home) to run group

Tues- 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic

Wed- 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic, 6:00-9:00 remote (home) to run group

Thurs- 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic, 6:00-9:00 remote (home) to run group

Fri- 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic

  Education:
  
  Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• 2.
  
  Experience:
  
  Program Therapist requires a minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Telehealth experience preferred.
• 3. License:
  Must possess a state license as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC Intern, LPC, LMFT-A or LMFT. Staff are encouraged to pursue LCSW licensure.

  Additional Requirements:
  
  CPR Certification and CPI training in accordance with New Hire policy must be completed prior to providing direct patient care services. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
