Urology - Surgery Coding Supervisor - Urology

Position Overview

Contract Urology Coding Supervisor – Remotely based out of Dallas, TX. Oversee a team of 7-9 urology coders, manage daily workflow, verify coding accuracy, and coordinate with 40-50 urology providers/surgeons.

• Work up reports each morning and assign tasks to the coding team.
• Review and verify surgical coding for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise coders and provide guidance on procedure‑heavy cases.
• Communicate with supervisors and manage workload distribution.
• Maintain oversight of coding activities and ensure timely completion.

• Expert level experience in urology coding, surgery coding, and medical coding.
• Strong supervisory experience within a coding environment.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple provider relationships.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Contract position – fully remote. Based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay range: $34.50 – $35.50 per hour.
