In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Physician's Assistant is credentialed with advanced training in areas of primary health care for adult and pediatric patients, including, but not limited to: taking health history, performing physical examination and psycho-social assessments, management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provides wellness care and urgent care in collaboration with physician members of health care team.
Job RequirementsMinimum qualifications:
- PA State Certification. Advanced training in physical assessment and pharmacology; continuing education in field of practice
- PA:
CA - PA License - AHA BLS
- Advanced training in physical assessment and pharmacology; continuing education in field of practice.
- Minimum five years experience in acute care facility, i.e., hospital; specialty training in areas of trauma/urgent care, pediatrics, and gynecology, minor office surgical procedures.
