• Follow up with insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims
• Research overdue account balances and contact insurance carriers or customers for delinquent payments
• Review unpaid and underpaid claims, resubmitting or appealing as necessary
• Coordinate collection activities for delinquent accounts and document all actions accurately
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding account status and resolve discrepancies

• High school diploma is required
• Minimum of one year of related experience is required
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic level mathematical proficiency

• Experience in collections or healthcare billing
• Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience in a remote work environment
