The Excel Center Ft. Worth is an outpatient clinic serving ages 5 – 18. We are a specialized day treatment center meeting the emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents. We offer Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs in a safe and supportive environment for youth whose emotional and behavioral problems are interfering with their ability to function effectively at home, at school, and in the community.
Our team of dedicated psychiatrists, nurses, licensed therapists and teachers are experienced in working with children, adolescents and families. An affiliate of Millwood Hospital, the Excel Center of Ft. Worth offers a less restrictive treatment environment than an inpatient facility. This is not a remote position.

Position SummarySeeking a Full Time Program Therapist to be responsible for our virtural IOP program running evening groups and teleheath as needed. Performs behavioral health care clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs with ongoing assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral management, enhancement of coping skills, family therapy and discharge planning.

Work LocationThis is a hybrid position (home and work position). Home base/location - Branches Ft. Worth - Outpatient Clinic Services, 1307 8th Ave, Floot 5, Fort Worth, TX 76104
OrientationMust be available to attend the Full hospital and departmental orientations:
Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
Mon - 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic, 6:00-9:00 remote (home) to run group
Tues - 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic
Wed - 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic, 6:00-9:00 remote (home) to run group
Thurs - 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic, 6:00-9:00 remote (home) to run group
Fri - 8:00-2:00 onsite at clinic
Qualifications- Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
- Experience: Program Therapist requires a minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Telehealth experience preferred.
- License: Must possess a state license as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC Intern, LPC, LMFT-A or LMFT. Staff are encouraged to pursue LCSW licensure.
- Additional Requirements: CPR Certification and CPI training in accordance with New Hire policy must be completed prior to providing direct patient care services. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
